Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using VOWS, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of service
VOWS is an online wedding planning platform that helps couples create wedding websites, manage guest lists, collect RSVPs, plan seating and communicate with guests.
3. User accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use VOWS only for lawful purposes. You may not use the platform to distribute spam, malware, abusive content or infringing material, or to interfere with the security or availability of the service.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you upload to VOWS, including photos and guest information. You grant us a limited licence to host and display that content solely for the purpose of providing our services. The VOWS name, logo and platform design are our property and may not be used without permission.
6. Guest data
When you add guest information to VOWS, you confirm that you have the right to collect and use that information. You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws and for obtaining any necessary consent from your guests.
7. Payment and subscriptions
Certain features may require payment. Fees are described at checkout and may be subject to change with notice. All purchases are final unless otherwise stated.
8. Limitation of liability
VOWS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use VOWS ceases immediately.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of VOWS after changes means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email.
